Ezekiel 1:28 NASBÂ Â As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of The Glory of The Lord . And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.

If you read “Lord Who Am I,” there was a link to a list of the Hebrew calendar holidays and some pretty amazing things that I learned about what happened on certain days throughout Israel’s history. Like Israel’s version of America’s 911, only thing they had many catastrophes on the 9th of Av over thousands of years, all terrible events. But there are good dates too, like the 17th of Nisan when good and Godly events took place.
The dates and events throughout the Hebrew calendar are really Father God’s calendar. The seven major feasts on God’s calendar are “dress rehearsals” for bringing about of God’s agenda.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit have already fulfilled the first 4,
Passover, Unleavened Bread, The Feast of Fruits and The Day of Pentecost.
After studying God’s calendar and knowing the 3 fall feasts are yet to be fulfilled I have an excitement and anticipation when they come around.
In 2016, when the Feast of Trumpets, “Rosh Hashanah” arrived beginning at sunset October 2nd, I was really excited. It fell in the middle of my 14 day work hitch and I was working nights, 6pm to 6am.
I left our office dock at 6pm like usual and got to the main facility on the bay at almost 6:30pm. I drive our crew boat from a flying bridge so I have an excellent 360° view of everything.
Scriptures say Jesus will return in the clouds and the sound of a trumpet will be heard. As I was waiting for the men that I’d be bringing around to get onboard my eyes were searching the skies for anything out of the ordinary.
I’ve worked and played on the water for 50+ years. Daddy built my first boat when I was about 13 and I’ve always had one since. I was a commercial fisherman, operating my own shrimp boat for 30 years along the Louisiana and Mississippi coastal waters. Now I’ve been a crew boat captain for 11 years. In all my years on the water I’ve NEVER seen anything like the pictures I took that October day waiting to hear a loud shofar blast, nor since.
I took these pics with my Note 3 phone but the quality is still good enough to see how amazing these sights were.
I added the time the photos were taken from the file info of the pics using an app called “Phonto.” The date stamped on each photo is automatically displayed on them on the lower left.
On day the shofar blast WILL be heard by God’s Chosen Ones, Hallelujah!!!

I was already amazed by the rainbow that I saw sitting above the cloud in the first photos, then I saw this begin to form towards the North. Notice the hint of rainbow colors to the left on the edge of the cloud.
Then it grew out longer with a bright red glow. That was all of it. No upper part forming an arch like normal rainbows.
The colors changed some as it got a little longer. Like a rainbow sword dropping out of the cloud.
I looked back towards the Southeast to see what was going on with the first ball of rainbow colors sitting on top of the cloud. It was expanding to this shape now.
Then looked again to the rainbow coming down out of the cloud.
I took this pic looking Westward just as the sun was setting before heading Southward to the next stop at Tank Battery 1A.
Once I was docked there I took a pic of the rainbow sword dropping down out of the cloud from where I had just left from.
Then one last pic of where the first ball of rainbow colors had formed on top of a cloud.
I’ve been thinking a lot about “Living Water” lately. You can’t have a rainbow without water. God’s Promise to humanity was made in a Glorious display of Living Water.
I didn’t know anything about the rapture before being “Born Again” but it was preached about and mentioned very much after my conversion. So much that I mailed out Christmas cards that first year about the sound of the trumpet and Jesus coming in the clouds for His church. I know many have believed they’d live to see the rapture but didn’t. I’ve had faith to believe that also and have spoken to many about it happening “soon” and not wanting to miss it and be left behind. Sadly some will be taken and many will be left behind. Jesus taught about this in simple, clear speach. Not in parables like he often did. One day it won’t be a “dressed rehearsal,” it will be the Real Deal, Don’t Miss It.
