Some Orthodox Jews try to disprove that Jesus is the “True Messiah” and even say Psalm 22 isn’t speaking of a crucification at all. They claim it doesn’t say “they pierced my hands and my feet.”
Below are some verses from Psalm 22 that speak prophetically of Jesus crucified on the cross. Jesus actually says verse one on the cross as recorded in Matthew 27:46
“And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”
Matthew also confirms that verse 18 of Psalm 22 is fulfilled,
Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: “They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.”
Matthew 27:35 NKJV
Psalm 22 Verse 6 says “I am a worm”
Worm H8438- Tolah, Tola’ath, a worm that scarlet dye is made from.
The Tolah worm climbs on a tree or post, anchors itself to it to die but first lays it’s eggs under her. When they hatch their food will be her body which ozzes blood red and will coat them that color for life.
After 3 days her body’s shell will turn white and waxy then flake off like snow.
A blind person could see this unless the blindness is spiritual.
The Crimson Worm -Psalm 22
Psalm 22:1,6-8,13-18 KJVS
1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying ,
8 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
I have in recent weeks began to look into the hype in activity concerning “The Noahide Laws,” and how Ultra Orthodox Jews think they should be used to kill anyone that believes Jesus Christ is the “Son of God” or the “True Messiah.” Honestly, the more I learn of their views, the more I feel like I’ve been sucker punched.
