Every Praise!!! Is To Our God

Sunday morning at church one of the worship songs we sang had these words in it,

It’s a wonderful thing when you get to the place in life and “In Christ Jesus” that those words are a reality in your heart and mind.

Bishop Drew’s sermon was about “Happy Home” and can be seen here, https://www.facebook.com/FCWO1/?rf=1663614053871575   He went through a list of 18 things that if done properly lead to a Happy Home. The message focused on marriage and relationship improvements.

My last 3 posts were focused on devotionals from “Love Language Minute Devotional” in relation to Valentines Day. My emphasis was on marriage and relationship improvements, imagine that! “Love Language Minute Devotionals” has 365 devotionals, one for each day of the year.

I started those posts by saying, “Since 3 is one of my favorite numbers and Valantines Day is 3 days away I thought I’d post the entries for these days.” Well as Faith and God’s Grace would have it my 3rd point about “listening” was Bishop Drew’s 3rd point also, (you see why I like 3)

Our Dear Heavenly Father will do things in a person, family or nation’s life to reveal His Presence and Watchfulness over it.

Psalm 121:3-5
He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade at your right hand.

Exodus 3:2-4  And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, “I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.” 4 When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”

Exodus 12:40-42
Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same dayit came to pass that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

Jeremiah 1:11-12 The word of the LORD came to me saying, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said, “I see a rod of an almond tree.” 12 Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.”

God is “Watching” over all of His creation and does things that point out that important revelation for men to take note. We too have to be “Watchful” or else you will miss it. But it you catch it and come to realize that our Dear Heavenly Father is not zillions of miles away and oblivious to what’s going on in the world or even our lives it should make you want to sing,

I found this version of “Every Praise” a few years ago after we sang it one day at church. I think its a Wonderful song!!! God My Savior, God My Healer, God My Deliverer!!! And at times He leads my thoughts to coincide with those of Bishop Drew’s sermons, sometimes on that very day. THAT’s Wonderful Too!!!

If God is trying to get your attention with the number 3 or through some other “coincidence” (No Such Thing in Hebrew thought) pay attention, ask God what He is speaking to you, The word of the LORD came to me saying, “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

There’s a lot of corrupt things the enemy of our soul tries to get us to see but look away, they mean you harm.

Luke 4:5-7 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

An author said, “The great tragedy in life is not in failing to get what you go after. The great tragedy in life is in getting it and finding out it wasn’t worth the trouble!”

Instead, count your blessings, look for God, Seek Him With All Your Heart. There’s NO Harm in that, I promise.

Earlier in life, before I became a “Born Again with God’s Spirit” Christian,” I spent too much time listening and looking at things from the enemy of my souls point of view. I did much harm to myself and great harm to those I love the most. I eventually got to the point that I thought there was nothing left to live for. Then I cried out to God for mercy on my sinful soul and life. Within a few days I was introduced to Psalm 51 by a nun who saw my dispair. The Word of God through that psalm began to transform my life,

Oh Lord, Open My Lips, And My Mouth WILL Declare YOUR PRAISE!!!!!!!!!

From a grateful heart, I can honestly sing,
