The last almost 4 years with Donald Trump as president has been quite a ride. Sometimes as with the 1st presidential debate not a very appealing one but certainly not boring either. Before the 2016 election I questioned in my heart if God would use a man with the moral flaws that Donald Trump clearly had in his closet and were leaking out. I was left with the thought when choosing between him and Hilary, “isn’t the lesser of two evils still evil.” I went with the lesser as I understood it in my mind. Then the facts came out, on inauguration day 2017 Donald Trump would be 70 years 7 months and 7 days old. That one fact has had me “check” my opinion of Donald Trump and God’s use of him many times.
Can God use someone without their knowledge or even their consent? That’s the question I want us to think about today. You can prove or disprove almost anything with scripture if you put your mind to it with today’s Bible resources. Please read the following scriptures of how our Heavenly Father cared for who I believe was and still is one of the greatest prophets of all time. He is of a rare and elite class in the Eyes of God for one simple reason above “none of his words falling to the ground”. Elijah is one of less than a handful of humans Almighty God spared the “taste of death.” That’s “Huge” to use a Donaldism.
1 Kings 17 Elijah and the Widow
8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.” 11 And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”
12 So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”
13 And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.’ ”
15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.
Elijah who many believe was a gentile had no problem eating flesh brought to him by ravens, a bird declared to be “unclean” in the Bible. He also had no questions of God telling him to go to a Canaanite woman to be taken care of by her. My focus is not on Elijah today. It’s on the widow woman. God said, “See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.”
Our Heavenly Father is Sovereign of the universe and everything that occurs goes through His filter of being allowed or not. Whether the widow woman knew it or not God had “commanded” that she would be the vessel used to care for His dear prophet. Last year a pastor shook my core when he preached a message saying Elijah was a failure in his ministry. IT made me question things going on in my life at the time. It also made me study the life of Elijah very earnestly and I came to the conclusion that the pastors message was dead wrong and an extremely dangerous teaching spiritually.
Time will tell if God is finished “using a fallen man like Donald Trump” to correct some of the things that ailes America. I have some thoughts but will keep them to myself because I am not a prophet or claim to be one. Many times I have had my thoughts clearly directed by the Holy Spirit but have only been aware of this “after” they were confirmed by undeniable events.
For me or you, in our daily lives, always be aware that God may be in the process of using you for His purpose or is directing others to intervene in our life in ways you or them are “unawares.”
Hebrews 13:1-2 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Find peace and rest in the fact that “God Is Always Up To Something.”

The next president will be #46. Could Isaiah have spoken of God’s Sovereignity too. I think so, in chapter 46,
Isaiah 46:8-13 “Remember this, and show yourselves men; Recall to mind, O you transgressors. 9 Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ 11 Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it. 12 “Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted, Who are far from righteousness: 13 I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not linger. And I will place salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory.
Ellicott’s Commentary of Isaiah 46:11 Calling a ravenous bird.—Cyrus is thus described as Nebuchadnezzar is in Jeremiah 49:22; Ezekiel 17:3. The image derives a special significance from the fact that the standard borne by Cyrus and his successors was a golden eagle (Xen., Cyrop. vii. 1. 4; Anab. i. 10, 12). (Comp. also Matthew 24:28; Luke 17:37.) The “sun-rising” is, of course, Persia; the “far country” probably represents Media.
I have spoken.—The word of Jehovah passes, unlike that of the false gods, into a certain and immediate act.

Early in this summer during daily devotional readings and study these scriptures came up and I used them in one of my posts,
Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Mark 4:21-25 Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? 22 For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. 23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Since before and still now after this presidential election ended these two scriptures keep coming to mind and I pray them. I pray that they produce fruit in the revelation to any and all things that have been done in secret to pervert the elections outcome. Time will tell if things done hiddenly and secretly will be uncovered and illuminated by God’s Light of Truth. “Spirit of Truth, come into this situation concerning the 2020 elections and Shine Your Glorious Light, Amen.”
This 96 Mile Long Trump Train was grass root support for Donald Trump a week before the election. How could Trump have not won Arizona. “Huge” Trump Trains and Trump Boat Parades were all over the U.S.
Truth be told, Trump probably won with an astronomical landslide. If these election results stand, it won’t only be Trump losing the election. A majority of Americans will lose their hope and faith in future open and honest elections.
If he is the trump of God, could he be the last trump?
